These ACORD 25 forms contain checkboxes and pre-printed areas that clarify important insurance details – sort of like IRS forms. When all insurance carriers and agents use the same forms, everyone benefits from reduced ambiguity and increased accuracy. The example below specifically demonstrates how your contractor must have their insurance agents fill out the two (2) boxes at the end of the ACORD 25 Certificate of Liability Insurance form that the Association requires before work may commence on your unit.Remember, if your contractor’s Certification of Liability Insurance form is not filled out exactly as above, it will be returned for you to correct and you will not be able to start your project until the Certification is filled out correctly.
